Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Vektor Spaces (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our website at vektorspaces.com or otherwise engage with our studio. We aim to write privacy notices in plain English — if anything below is unclear, please email privacy@vektorspaces.com.
Data we collect
- Contact data — name, work email, phone, company, role — typed into our forms or shared in correspondence.
- Project data — site plans, drawings, brand kits, photographs, and references shared as part of a project enquiry.
- Usage data — pages visited, referrer, device class, anonymised IP — collected via first-party analytics.
- Communication data — emails, call notes, and messages exchanged with our studio team.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and run an active engagement.
- To prepare a fixed-price proposal and contract.
- To send Studio Notes (only with your subscription consent — opt-out in every issue).
- To meet legal, tax, and compliance requirements.
- To improve the website and our process — only in aggregate.
Who we share it with
Personal data is shared with our internal team and, where strictly necessary, with engaged vendors (e.g., long-lead suppliers, AV/MEP partners) under written confidentiality. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Project data is retained for the duration of an engagement plus seven years for legal and warranty reasons. Marketing data is retained while a subscription is active and for up to 12 months after unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Email privacy@vektorspaces.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
We restrict internal access to project data on a need-to-know basis. Backups are encrypted at rest. We use widely accepted hosting and email providers and pass through their applicable data-protection terms.
