Our Team

The team behind Vektor Spaces

Vektor Spaces is a multidisciplinary practice — workplace strategists, architects, MEP engineers, project managers, and technology specialists working as a single integrated team. Every person on a project is a practitioner who has delivered in the field, not a project coordinator managing external specialists from a desk. This is what makes one contract and one fixed price possible.

The best office fit-outs are not the result of a single great designer — they are the product of a team that spans disciplines and stays together through every phase. When the workplace strategist, the lead architect, and the project delivery lead are in the same room at briefing, design decisions account for MEP constraints, programme risk, and client change patterns before they become problems on site.

At Vektor Spaces, the team that writes your brief is the same team that signs off your space plan, presents your 3D walkthrough, and hands you the keys. No handoffs. No reinterpretation. No accountability gaps between the people who designed something and the people building it.

Team profiles

Rohan Mehta

Principal — Workplace Strategy & Design

Rohan leads workplace strategy and design at Vektor Spaces, with over 12 years of experience delivering office fit-outs for GCCs, enterprises, and scaling technology companies across Pune and Mumbai. He joined the commercial interiors industry in 2012, initially working on large-scale enterprise projects in Mumbai before moving to Pune to work with the rapidly growing IT park occupier base in Hinjewadi and Kharadi.

Rohan's approach to workplace strategy starts with how people actually work — the ratio of focus to collaboration time, how teams form and dissolve across a day, the relationship between physical environment and the culture a leadership team is trying to build. The design that follows is specific to each client's work patterns, not a template applied from a portfolio. He has led projects from 3,000 sq ft founder-stage offices to 45,000 sq ft GCC headquarters, and has worked with global workplace teams at several Fortune 500 companies to translate HQ design standards into the Pune and Mumbai build context.

Priya Desai

Head of Delivery & Project Management

Priya has spent 10 years leading the delivery of complex commercial interiors across Mumbai and Pune. Before joining Vektor Spaces, she managed fit-out programmes for one of India's largest commercial real estate developers, overseeing tenant delivery across multiple Grade-A buildings simultaneously — an experience that gave her an unusually detailed understanding of how building management systems work and where approval processes can stall a project.

At Vektor Spaces, Priya owns the delivery programme from contract execution through to handover. Her specialisation in MEP coordination means she sits between design and construction in a way that resolves conflicts early — the MEP sub-contractors on a Vektor Spaces project do not discover constraints on site that should have been resolved in design. Her IT park delivery experience across Hinjewadi, Kharadi, BKC, and Lower Parel means she knows the specific building management teams and approval processes in each market personally.

Aditya Kulkarni

Senior Design Architect

Aditya leads design from concept through 3D sign-off at Vektor Spaces. With a background in architecture and interior design, he has spent his career at the intersection of brand identity, spatial performance, and the practicalities of commercial construction — a combination that defines the design approach at Vektor Spaces. His work is grounded in the premise that a great office is not a beautiful box but a performance environment — one that supports focus, enables collaboration, and communicates who the occupier is.

Aditya's particular expertise is in biophilic design — integrating natural light, material texture, planting, and views into commercial interiors in ways that measurably affect occupant wellbeing and cognitive performance. He has also led multiple GCC brand environment translation projects, working directly from global design standards documents to produce spaces that are recognisably part of a parent company's global estate while being completely buildable in Pune's and Mumbai's local context.

Editorial Standards

Content on the Vektor Spaces blog is written by our in-house team of workplace designers, project managers, and strategists — practitioners who have delivered over 500,000 sq ft of commercial interiors in Western India. Each article is reviewed by Rohan Mehta, Principal, before publication and updated when market conditions, cost benchmarks, or regulatory context change. We cite primary sources and flag our own experience clearly. Last editorial review: June 2026.

We do not publish sponsored content or accept payment for editorial coverage. When we reference cost benchmarks, they reflect our own project data from recent deliveries in Pune and Mumbai — not third-party estimates. When we reference regulatory requirements (BMC approvals, fire NOC processes, SEEPZ compliance), we base our descriptions on the processes we have navigated in delivered projects, and we note when rules are subject to change or local variation.
